  1. My son, now 20, was diagnosed with Langerhans cell Histiocytosis at age 17 months. Had bone and central nervous system disease and wound up on chemo for 8 years(plus three regimens of radiation, as a toddler, age 5 and age 8). Thankfully, he's been off treatment for 11 years. He's an Eagle Scout, piano player and community college student. Thank you for raising funds and awareness.

    1. I am so incredibly thankful for your comment Barb. I have heard entirely too many stories with unhappy endings surrounding Histiocytosis. Your story gives me hope that with more awareness, more people can survive. Your son's story brought me to tears. He is a true fighter and I am so proud of him.

  2. I got a custom order from Vickie for a medium box bag in the turtle,TURTLE fabric and I wanted to know if I could do another donation to get the josh turtle,TURTLe pin if you haveone you can spare.((((Hugs))))Darcy/knottyknitter40
